DESCRIPTION:The Reading Cycle Festival returns with a full day celebrating cycling for all ages and abilities. It’s a vibrant mix of rides\, demonstrations\, hands‑on activities and family fun and RCC is proud to be part of it again this year. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat’s Happening:* Kidical Mass family ride (3–5 km) leaving the festival site at 13:00* Free Trishaw rides courtesy of Cycling Without Age Wallingford* Obstacle course for balance bikes\, intermediate riders and confident cyclists* Stunt displays from professional riders* Pump track challenge hosted by Trek* E‑bike trials with AW Cycles and e‑bike barn* Penny farthing rides – would you dare??* Bike marking by Thames Valley Police* Free bike checks from Reading Bicycle Kitchen and MT‑Cycle Repairs* Local clubs and community groups sharing advice\, routes and activities (including us!) \n\n\n\nCharity Raffle:Enter the festival raffle for a chance to win a new bike or cycling goodies! \n\n\n\n\n\nFamily Zone:Alongside the cycling activities\, families can also enjoy:* Fairground rides* Face painting* Ice cream and coffee stalls* Low‑rider bike spins \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRCC at the FestivalRCC volunteers will be on hand wearing our new T-Shirts to talk about: \n\n\n\n* Safer cycling routes *Local campaigns *How to get involved *Upcoming events \n\n\n\nReading Cycle Festival is a brilliant opportunity to meet riders\, families and supporters and to showcase the importance of better cycling infrastructure in our town.
