š¦ School Streets: Safer Roads for Young Lives
Mark will provide an update on theĀ Reading Borough Council (RBC) School Streets programme, which transforms roads outside schools into pedestrian-friendly zones during peak drop-off and pick-up times.
WithĀ six School StreetsĀ currently in operationācoveringĀ 10 schoolsĀ (eight primary and two secondary)āthis initiative aims to create safer, healthier environments for children and families.

š“āāļø Pilgrimage on Two Wheels
After the break, Mark will share stories and insights from hisĀ Camino bike ride, starting right here in Reading. Follow his journey along theĀ historic St James pilgrimage route, fromĀ Reading Abbey to Southamptonāa 68.5-mile (110-kilometre) path once walked by medieval pilgrims, now officially recognised as part of theĀ Camino InglĆ©sĀ in the UK.

To wrap up the evening, Mark will provide the latest updates on theĀ National Cycle Network (NCN)Ā inĀ Reading and the Thames Valley.
