Reading Cycle Campaign EGM

An Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) to review and vote on changes to the current member subscription fees.
We will also share our goals, actions and planned events for 2025.
The meeting will be held on Wednesday 19th Feb from 7-9pm in the Stones Room at RISC.
RCC proposes to increase the membership fees from the 1st March 2025 as follows:
- Annual – Individual: from £3 to £5
- Annual – Joint/Family: from £5 to £8
- Five years – Individual: from £12 to £20
- Five years – Joint/Family from £20 to £32
The option for life membership for new members be withdrawn.
The proposed membership fee increase will support our online and in-person plans to develop our current cycling community. The fee has not increased since 1983 when we started!
We will continue to lobby the local authorities to improve cycling access and safety in the Reading area. Plus we’ll run more cycling events, engage more with businesses and hopefully interact more with you, our local experts.
