We pointed out the dangerous cycle lane markings in Wokingham Road as they were dangerously close to car doors and therefore in contravention of good practice.
When RBC repainted them, they made the lanes a little wider, but seemingly this was at the expense of making the parking bays too narrow.
The photographs show vehicles parked close to the kerb but with wheels in the cycle lanes. Still dangerous. Another expensive mistake by the Council when what we want are proper safe cycle lanes.
