RCC Open Meeting with Thames Valley Police
18 June @ 19:00 – 21:00
We’re pleased to announce that Inspector Betsy Palmer from Thames Valley Police’s Southcote and Norcot Neighbourhood Team will be joining us for our next RCC Open Meeting on Thursday 18 June, 19:00–21:00, at RISC, London Road.
Inspector Palmer leads the local neighbourhood policing team of Sergeants, Police Constables, PCSOs and police staff. Her team is responsible for delivering neighbourhood policing strategies across Southcote and Norcot, directing deployments, and building strong partnerships with community groups and key stakeholders.
At our meeting, Inspector Palmer will outline how the Local Neighbourhood Policing Team is working to make communities safer, particularly in relation to cycling safety, enforcement, and local priorities. There will also be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions from the floor.
We are exploring the option of live‑streaming the event. If you would be interested in joining remotely, please email publicity@readingcyclecampaign.org.uk.
You can read more about the team’s current priorities on the TVP website: Thames Valley Police – Southcote & Norcot Priorities
We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 18 June, 19:00–21:00, at RISC, London Road. We will meet in Room 3. Please enter via the rear of the building. Secure bike parking will be available.
