After the formalities of our 2021 AGM we engaged RBC Councillors from all the political parties in a cycle question time. Our thanks to Councillors Duveen (Lib Dem), Gittings (Labour), Stanford-Beale (Conservative) and White (Green) for taking part.
We started off by asking them 3 questions:
- What in your opinion is the main reason why people do not cycle in Reading?
- What would be the most effective way to get people cycling?
- What is the biggest obstacle to doing this?
