Cycling UK, in partnership with Reading Cycle Campaign, will host an in‑person advocacy event in Reading on Saturday 14 November, bringing together campaigners from across the region to sharpen their communication skills and strengthen local action on active travel.
We are thrilled that Cycling UK has chosen Reading as the host location for this important event, recognising the town’s growing momentum around cycling.
Designed for both new and experienced campaigners, the event will feature expert speakers, interactive workshops and practical messaging sessions focused on how to talk about cycling in ways that resonate with different audiences. Participants will explore proven approaches to reframing the benefits of cycling to all road users.
It’s a brilliant chance to connect with fellow campaigners and gain practical skills to help create change locally.
